PUMPKIN SOUP with GOLD SESAME

 

For 4 people

 

Ingredients for the soup:

- 1 medium-sized onion

- 200 g pumpkin

- 1 tbsp golden sesame oil

- 1 pinch of salt

- 50 cc water

- 250 cc Milch

- 50 cc Sahne

- 1 tbsp golden sesame paste

 

Topping:

- Some parsley

- Golden sesame seeds

- Scene

 

 Preparation:

  • Slice the onion, put sesame oil in a warm pan, and fry.
  • Cut the pumpkin into bite-sized pieces, place them on the fried and translucent onion, sprinkle with a pinch of salt, add water, and steam over low heat.
  • When the pumpkin is soft, add milk, fresh cream, and sesame paste, and let it briefly come to a boil.
  • Fill into a soup plate, add fresh cream and chopped parsley as a topping, and sprinkle with golden sesame.
  • Alternatively, roasted sesame coated with spice blends such as wasabi sesame and kimchi sesame also fits very well.
